What began as a way to stay connected to my Sri Lankan roots has turned into a joyful journey of sharing the bold, comforting flavors I grew up with. Cooking isn’t just my passion - it’s my way of keeping traditions alive while blending in new inspirations from life here in LA.
My Story
Born and raised in Sri Lanka, I grew up surrounded by bold spices, sizzling curries, and the kind of homemade meals that brought everyone to the table.
After moving to the U.S. over 15 years ago, I found myself missing more than just the flavors - I missed the feeling of home.
So I did what came naturally: I started cooking. I recreated my mother’s recipes, adding my own twists inspired by life in LA.
Over time, thanks to my husband’s love for Thai food, I began exploring it myself and even went to school for Thai cooking. It quickly became a special part of both our home and our menu.
What started as a personal journey became something much more meaningful - a way to share the comfort, culture, and soul of these beloved flavors with others.
